What's New in Infaque v26.6.1 – Release Notes:

Manage Subscriptions & New Enhancements

This release puts admins in direct control of donor subscription management. Building on Infaque's existing Stripe integration, admins can now manage active recurring subscriptions directly from the donor profile, alongside a new ability to update the purpose of a recurring donation on the fly. Together, these enhancements reduce the need to switch between platforms, streamline donor servicing, and give fundraising teams greater flexibility in managing ongoing giving relationships.

New Features:

Manage Subscriptions from the Donor Profile:

Admins can now manage a donor's active Stripe subscriptions directly within the donor's profile on the admin side, keeping subscription control in the same place where donor information is already managed.

Pause a Subscription:

Admins can temporarily pause an active subscription by scheduling a future resume date. Billing is automatically suspended from the pause date and resumes without any manual intervention once the selected date is reached. This is particularly useful when a donor requests a temporary break rather than a full cancellation, helping retain recurring giving relationships that might otherwise be lost.

Cancel a Subscription:

Admins can cancel an active subscription at any time with immediate effect, giving teams the responsiveness needed when a donor requests a change. Cancellations are processed directly within the donor profile, eliminating the need to access Stripe separately. The donor can also update the subscription and pause it from their self-service portal

Supported Subscription Types:

Subscription management currently supports monthly recurring subscriptions. Support for additional subscription types will be introduced in future releases.

Editable Donation Purpose:

A new Purpose dropdown has been added to the subscription management interface (Donors Profile), allowing admins to update the purpose associated with a donor's recurring donation at any time. This makes it straightforward to reassign a recurring gift to a different cause, campaign, or fund, without needing to cancel and recreate the subscription. This is especially valuable when organisational priorities shift, new campaigns are launched, or a donor requests that their ongoing giving be directed to a specific programme.

• Reduces platform-switching by bringing Stripe subscription management directly into the donor profile
• Gives admins immediate, responsive control when donors request changes to their recurring giving
• Preserve recurring donor relationships through the pause functionality, reducing unnecessary cancellations
• Simplifies fund reallocation with the editable Purpose field, no subscription recreation required
• Strengthens the overall recurring giving experience for both administrators and donors

Important Notes:

• Subscription management is currently available for monthly recurring subscriptions only
• Pause and cancel actions apply to Stripe-connected subscriptions managed within Infaque
• The Purpose dropdown is available on all active subscriptions and takes effect immediately upon saving
